simonebortolin Could be that I am on ZTE. Could you please tell me how can I confirm it? I have great experience with zte vdsl modem, much better than with huawei. Right now my provider supplied me with HG8245h5 and it works well for most basic needs. I have tried to bridge both voip vlan and internet vlan on a single lan port in order to use it in conjuction with fb 5530 wan port to have sip/internet managed via FB, but w/o sucess. I have managed to get shell access, but it did not help much. I found some interesting info, but what I was looking for. Managed to get credentials for pppoe, sip and so on. Could be that I just do not see what I need. I have also contacted local distributor of AVM here originally wanted to purchase 5590 and advised to try with 5530, bla, bla. The local distributor asked me collect bunch of logs through support page and send to them. I even supplied more and sent some logs from huawei in order to enhance the chance of problem being solved. Tried to contact AVM, waited for two weeks and they informed me to contact my provider and support them with avm gpon serial and they should be able to give me the access. Will see. According to their response, they offer everything what is unnecessary and want to 'help' when there is no need. Bunch of no no's and yo yo's. Still waiting from my local telco for response. I have used 7390, 7490 before and they are great devices.
I am not sure if purchase of 5590 along with freetz firmware will solved my issue.
According to pppoe log mac Nokia ONT or part of it is used for establishing pppoe.
I hope will be able to connect fb straight to fiber w/o any unnecessary loops.
