Ho settato i parametri della mia sezione VoIP su Zoiper App per poter utilizzare il servizio anche tramite smartphone. Se mi collego tramite la Wi-Fi di casa...

Puoi mettere degli screenshot su come hai settato i dati in zoiper, io non sono riuscito a farlo funzionare (mettendo sip alg su tutti i media e porta telefonica disattivata su iliadbox).

Questa e' la configurazione che ho in uso, i cui (pochi) parametri rilevanti sono host, username, password e outbound proxy. Non e' stato necessario scegliere manualmente i codec ne' settare altro.

da quanto ho memoria, se un numero non è nato voip, può essere usato solo dalla connessione di casa,
ho avuto vari gestori, e non sono mai riuscito ad usare il numero di casa fuori. Avevo appunto risolto con la VPN presente nel fritzbox, iliad mi sembra funzioni allo stesso modo. Bene 😀

Grazie di cuore: mi si apre un mondo sia per le conoscenze che per la tua disponibilità.
Ho seguito le tue indicazioni abilitando sulla iliadbox il server OpenVPN e creando un utente.
Qui il primo dubbio: essendo a Torino (e pertanto con un ONT intermedio) devo mica scegliere OpenVPN con ONT?
Ho poi creato un utente ed esportato sull' iPhone (sul quale ho scaricato l' app OpenVPN) il file di configurazione.
Quando cerco di connettermi mi esce un messaggio di errore relativo alla connessione (There was an error attempting to connect to the selected server. Error message: option_error 'fragment' directive is not supported nor is connecting to a server that uses 'fragment' directive).
E qui mi blocco ... porta pazienza ma sono a livello di un bambino dell' asilo ;-) ... cosa posso fare?

Lion956 e' sempre un gran piacere condividere conoscenze 🙂
Nel nostro caso, ci interessa poter uscire su Internet attraverso il tunnel VPN stabilito (= OpenVPN instradato).
Per quanto riguarda quel messaggio di errore, pare sia una limitazione dei client OpenVPN disponibili su iOS (limitazione che puoi immaginare sia contestata a gran voce, da ormai svariati anni), ma fortunatamente la iliadbox pare supporti il rinunciare alla feature di frammentazione (= spezzettare pacchetti piu' grandi della dimensione massima supportata), comportando al massimo dei lievi cali in performance che dubito sarebbero comunque rilevabili sotto rete mobile.
Dalla scheda OpenVPN instradato, flagga "Disabilita frammentazione" e riprova il tutto. Dovrai molto probabilmente rigenerare l'utente e riscaricare/reimportare il relativo profilo.
Non ho dispositivi iOS con cui poter testare la cosa, ma dovresti essere a posto cosi'

Non bisogna confondere VoWiFi con VoIP perché sono due tecnologie completamente diverse.
VoWiFi è una funzione già inclusa nel cellulare tramite il tuo operatore (non tutti i fornitori di servizi telefonici offrono questo servizio e inoltre non tutti i telefoni hanno la possibilità di abilitare le chiamate VoWiFi in fabbrica).
VoIP è un servizio o uno strumento esterno che è necessario configurare o installare utilizzando un’app.

Gabbo diciamo che VoIP è l'evoluzione della classica telefonia di casa RTG in digitale, quindi la normale linea telefonica non è più collegata ad un doppino di rame ma ad un indirizzo IP, appunto Voice Over Internet Protocol.
Il Voice Over WiFi permette invece ad un terminale mobile, di collegarsi tramite rete wifi e sfruttare quest'ultima come fosse la propria rete cellulare. Va ad estendere la copertura della rete mobile li dove presente il wifi.😉

piu' che altro non bisogna confondere il voWifi (wifi call) con il protocollo sip (quello usato da tutti i providers per erogare il voip casalingo)

Ho seguito la procedura che mi hai indicato ed infatti il messaggio di errore è scomparso lasciando però posto al messaggio "Authentication Failed (User authentication failed)" ... ho verificato più volte la correttezza dei dati ma niente da fare.

Allego anche gli screenshot dell' app iOS così puoi verificare se va bene ... le tue istruzioni del primo messaggio (... dovrai poi andare a modificare il profilo importato per abilitarne il routing IPv6 (scheda Routing -> "use default route" nel paragrafo IPv6) ...) probabilmente si riferivano ad Android.

per la questione IPv6, penso dovresti selezionare "combined ipv4/6 tunnel", che vedo in uno degli screenshot.
Per quanto riguarda l'autenticazione, prova semplicemente ad eliminare il profilo (sia sul dispositivo che sull'iliadbox), a ricrearlo su quest'ultima e a scaricarlo e reimportarlo (ripetere il processo insomma). Chiaramente assicurati di star usando la pass giusta! La fa definire la iliadbox al momento della creazione dell'utente.

Ripetuta tutta la procedura ma il problema persiste.
Unico dato in più che posso fornire è quello che in contemporanea alla richiesta di accesso tramite app iOS nell' Iliadbox (sezione Stato e Connessioni del Server VPN) compare il Client per poi nuovamente scomparire dopo la comparsa del messaggio di errore iOS (Authentication Failed).
Getto le armi?

Lion956 la cosa strana e' che secondo la iliadbox sei autenticato, possibile ci sia qualcosa di cosi' scemo dietro il client sul telefono? E' l'unico disponibile?

L' app non viene aggiornata un anno ... e le lamentele nei feedback riguardo alle disconnessioni sono molte ... pensi possa aver senso sentire quelli di OpenVPN?

P.S.
In famiglia abbiamo tutti iPhone ... vedo se riesco a procurarmi un Android e provo.

Lion956 se l'app ti rilascia un log completo della sessione, si potrebbe provare a indagare su quello. Intanto, se puoi provare su un dispositivo Android, potremmo accertarci non sia di fatto un problema lato iliadbox.

A meno che non ti serva OpenVPN per la sua ricchezza di funzionalità, prova con WireGuard. Minime possibilità di configurazione e di errore.

Marco25 la VPN WireGuard configurabile pare non supportare il routing IPv6, percio' l'ho esclusa

Grazie per la risposta.
In effetti la configurazione funziona al volo e permette di creare un tunnel ma il VoIP non permette l' autenticazione in 4G (e nemmeno in Wi-Fi).
