ONT + GL.iNet FLint2 + Vodafone P.IVA = K.O.

Ciao a tutti, fino a poco tempo fa viaggiavo senza problemi con la mia linea FTTH ed ONT Nokia a 2,5 Gbps avendo un GL.iNet Filnt 2.
Ora mi hanno cambiato contratto.
Per farla breve, appena il router si connette in PPPoE, prende l'IP corretto, ma non c'è verso di uscire inInternet.
Non credo sia un problema di router, onestamente, lo fa anche resettandolo.
Stavo lavorando tranquillamente ed è caduta la connessione.
Non c'è più stato verso di tirarla su.
Devo usare la VS in DHCP e DMZ (perdendo i 2,5 Gbps).
Idee in proposito?

Se hai Vodafone P. IVA avrai IP statico giusto? Se hai IP statico devi fare l'autenticazione con IP statico e non con PPPoE.

lucamerega ok, se vedi anche l'IP assegnato da Vodafone, proviamo a vedere se il router ha connessione:

Abilita l'SSH Remote Access dal tab System --> Security
Da terminale prova a scaricare speedtest, se già al comando wget va in errore, vuol dire che proprio non c'è connessione, se invece funziona e lo speedtest va a piena velocità, è un errore lato LAN/WLAN
- ssh root@192.168.8.1
- wget https://install.speedtest.net/app/cli/ookla-speedtest-1.2.0-linux-aarch64.tgz
- tar xvzf ookla-speedtest-1.1.1-linux-armel.tgz

chrsz scusami, mi ero dimenticato di scriverlo: il router non ping nulla.
Il traceroute si ferma all'hop successivo al mio IP (quindi quello in centrale, immagino).
La cosa è stranissima... ma così 😔

Ho anche provato a mettere IP fisso, ma nulla. Qualcosa continua a non andare... e non capisco cosa sia.

Vodafone, ovviamente, non sa aiutarmi.

lucamerega se il ping e il traceroute li hai eseguiti direttamente dalla shell del router, mi dispiace ma non so cosa dirti. L'unica prova che puoi fare è usare (se lo hai) un altro router, giusto per capire se da gli stessi problemi.

@lucamerega visto che sul router gira openwrt, posteresti l'output di:
ip r, ip l e ip a cosí vediamo la situazione di tutte le interfacce.

Dall'output del ping sembra tu non abbia default route, che di norma dovrebbe essere assegnata quando tiri su la PPPoE.

É proprio il primo hop che butta via i pacchetti. Perché succeda..non lo so.

Mi verrebbe da dire "chiedi al provider", ma quelli del call center dubito abbiano idea di cosa siano questi dettagli di basso livello.

Se avessi modo di parlare con i tecnici..magari potrebbero aiutarti.

Comunque, se ottieni un IP, a mio avviso, l'autenticazione va a buon fine.
Poi non saprei proprio perché il gateway della vodafone faccia cosí.

@lucamerega ma ping 1.1.1.1 adesso ti da sempre network unreachable?

Direi che visto che il routing funziona senza problemi è proprio un problema di ONT su centrale.

lucamerega ordex LinusCasp non ho l'ONT Nokia, ma in caso il seriale non fosse autorizzato, l'ONT non dovrebbe segnalarlo tramite qualche LED probabilmente rosso?

BTW spero sia questo e che risolvi subito essendo gold, io che non lo sono è ormai da mesi che mi hanno assegnato un IP con i server voip irraggiungibili (cosa ormai nota) e non ne vogliono sapere di sistemare.

LinusCasp che poi la frustrazione piú grande é dover convincere i primi layer di assistenza/call center.
Saró ripetitivo, ma per questo io non torno piú indietro dopo aver scelto uno dei piccoli provider operanti su rete FiberCop.

Ho anche la mia sessione BGP e se qualcosa va storto, posso parlare direttamente con chi puó risolvere i problemi.

Dai comunque, bene che tu sia riuscito a chiudere il cerchio - ora devono solo fare escalation a chi di competenza e, si spera, risolveranno subito.
