Ciao - Ho una casa estiva appena fuori Carovigno e ci sono due torri principali nella zona a cui posso connettermi. Una è Tim/Vodafone e si trova a 800m di distanza (https://lteitaly.it/internal/map.php#bts=22210.78016). L'altra è W3 e si trova a 3km di distanza ma ha anche il 5G (https://lteitaly.it/internal/map.php#bts=22288.428041). L'intento è di fornire il servizio internet per la casa. Sono un utente frequente di Teams e videochiamate poiché lavoro da remoto. La sera spesso guardo Netflix e faccio streaming.

Ho passato molto tempo a leggere i forum per cercare di capire quale sim card MVNO acquistare, ma continuo a trovare nuove informazioni che cambiano il mio piano. Stavo per acquistare il piano PosteMobile 300% Digital e poi ho letto che PosteMobile fa un drastico traffic shaping. Ho anche acquistato una eSIM SPUSU per testare il 5G e ho scoperto solo dopo che il Pixel 8 non è ancora supportato sul 5G :-)

Abbiamo anche una sim card Very che può essere testata. Avevo ordinato una sim Lyca poiché funziona su Vodafone, ma dopo 10 giorni non è stata ancora spedita, quindi ho chiesto un rimborso.

Per risparmiare tempo volevo chiedere qui un consiglio su quale MVNO usare? Dovrei semplicemente prendere PosteMobile o c'è un suggerimento migliore?

I was about to purchase the PosteMobile 300% Digital plan and then read that PosteMobile does drastic traffic shaping. I also purchased a SPUSU esim to test the 5G and only realized after that PIxel 8 is not yet supported on 5G :-)

we also have a very sim card that can be tested. I had originally ordered a Lyca sim as it works on Vodafone but 10 days later and they still have not shipped the sim so I asked for a refund.

To save time I wanted to ask here for advice on which MVNO to use? Should I just get the postemobile or is there a better suggestion?

I have also attached some pictures of the network data and my temporary setup for testing purposes and gaining an extra 20dB 😃 😃 😃

winger88 I also think Alpsim (WindTre network) would be a good option, it has got unlimited traffic.
But what is your budget? Alpsim is 23.9 or 25.9€/month, you can use it in a phone or buy a dedicated router (150€ for 4G and 200 for 5G minimum, doing a cell-lock you might be able to connect to other BTS with N78 5G which allows you to have better performance).

If you want something cheaper, what is your average GB consumption? You may consider this VeryMobile offer (just 4G)

Il consumo medio di GB è probabilmente dell'ordine di 10 GB al giorno (probabilmente 6 GB di team + 4 GB di Netflix), quindi per amor di argomento 300 GB al mese. Il problema è che tra 1 mese arriverà tutta la mia famiglia e quindi il consumo sarà elevato.

La Very SIM potrebbe funzionare (attualmente utilizzo SPUSU e con la mia antenna parabolica da 20 dB la connessione è un eccellente SNR da 19 dB) ma la mia preoccupazione con Very sono i 30/30 Mbps. Average GB consumption is probably on the order of 10gb a day (prob 6gb of teams + 4gb of netflix) - so for arguments sake 300 GB a month. The problem is in 1 month my entire family comes and then consumption will be large.

The very sim card could work (currently using SPUSU and with my 20 dB parabolic antenna the connection is an excellent 19db SNR) but my concern with Very is the 30/30 mbps. I checked on my father's sim card and the "full speed" option is not available - it says too many people are requesting.

I guess I could try the alpsim and see if the 5G connects. I have 10 days to return it if not.

Yes

With 300gb there's also Fastweb (W3 network if putted in 5G phone), you might use another SIM for the next month but at this point you'd better use Alpsim...
